Amy Hardesty
Patient Coordinator
Amy graduated from the University of Maryland and remains a proud and dedicated Terps fan. She moved to Colorado in 1999 and quickly embraced everything the state has to offer. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and children, enjoying the outdoors, and staying connected with friends. She is also an avid equestrian and adores her horse, Rio, reflecting her lifelong love for animals.
At Modern Surgical Arts of Denver, Amy is our exceptional Patient Care Coordinator. With decades of experience, she expertly guides patients through every step of their treatment plan. Her deep knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine compassion ensure that every patient’s journey feels seamless, supported, and truly cared for.
Known for her warmth and kindness, Amy has a unique ability to make patients feel welcomed, informed, and at ease—bringing heart, expertise, and comfort to every interaction.
Maureen
Lead Medical Assistant
Maureen (aka Mo) is an experienced Medical Assistant with a strong background in plastic surgery and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Originally from Michigan, she attended Wayne State University before moving to Colorado more than 10 years ago. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their aesthetic and surgical journeys.
With years of experience in the plastic surgery field, Maureen takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring each patient receives compassionate, personalized attention. Her dedication to patient care and attention to detail make her a valued member of the practice team.
Outside of the office, Maureen enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with her husband and two children. She is also a proud cat mom to three Sphynx cats and one Lykoi cat, who keep life fun and entertaining at home.
Maureen is honored to be part of a team dedicated to helping patients look and feel their best while providing the highest level of care and support.
Catherine Obernesser, B.S.
Practice Coordinator
Originally from North Carolina (Go Tar Heels!), Catherine has proudly called Colorado home for over a decade. She serves on the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery as a Committee Member for Allied Health and volunteers her time with Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary.
A sponsored triathlete, Catherine competes annually and has a true passion for running. She has completed eleven 14ers and loves spending time outdoors. She also enjoys traveling—especially taking road trips with her husband and their dog, Winnie.
At Modern Surgical Arts of Denver, Catherine is our Practice & Operating Room Director, where patient safety and an exceptional experience are always her top priorities. She also leads our Physician-Guided Wellness Program, helping patients navigate their wellness journey and hosting free monthly workouts to support everyone in reaching their goals.
Gracyn Goyer
Licensed Aesthetician
Originally from Florida, Gracyn has spent nearly a decade embracing the beauty and adventure of Colorado. An avid hiker, she loves spending her free time outdoors—fishing, attending concerts, camping with friends, and exploring the mountains with her two beloved dogs, Kota and Boone.
At Modern Surgical Arts of Denver, Gracyn serves as both a Licensed Aesthetician and Medical Assistant, making her a uniquely versatile and valued member of our team. Whether patients are visiting for skincare, pre-operative education, or postoperative support, Gracyn is there every step of the way. Her warm, genuine approach ensures every patient feels heard, seen, and truly cared for throughout their journey with us.
Gracyn is known for her meticulous attention to detail, compassionate communication style, and dedication to helping others feel confident in their skin and in their surgical experience. Her ability to blend clinical knowledge with aesthetic expertise allows her to create a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel empowered and understood.

Eliana
Certified Lymphatic Specialist
Eliana Arvizu is an MSU alum and a dedicated wellness professional with a deep passion for lymphatic drainage and integrative healthcare. Fully fluent in Spanish, Eliana values creating a safe, nurturing, and comforting experience for every client to feel truly cared for by supporting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being through natural, holistic approaches. Her approach combines natural wellness practices with a genuine belief in the body’s ability to heal, restore, and thrive.
She finds her greatest joy in spending quality time with her family and friends, especially her nephew, who brings her endless joy. When she’s not with loved ones, you’ll likely find her exploring a new destination. She is an avid traveler and loves exploring new cultures, landscapes, and perspectives. She’s also a devoted coffee shop enthusiast and enjoys discovering cozy cafés wherever she goes. When she is not with patients, Eliana enjoys the company of her sweet dog, Lilo, who brings extra love and laughter to her daily life. Fun Facts: Eliana has visited over 25 countries and hopes to continue adding more stamps to her passport!

Front Desk Coordinator
Originally from Illinois, Katie brings a background in aesthetics and patient care. After attending esthetics school in Aurora, Colorado in 2020, she worked in a variety of spa settings where she developed a passion for helping clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
As a Front Desk and Patient Care Coordinator, Katie enjoys creating a welcoming experience for every patient and helping guide them through their journey with compassion and a friendly smile.
Known for her positive attitude and sense of humor, Katie believes that a little kindness and laughter can help make every patient experience a great one.
Outside of work, she stays busy chasing after her feral toddler, spending time with her two big dogs, and cheering on her favorite sports teams—Go Cubs and Bears!

Ralph has over 10 years of anesthesia experience in hospital settings at UCHealth and Rose Medical. He has been involved in several quality initiatives at these sites to improve anesthesia care. Ralph has experience in a variety of office based clinics including ketamine infusions, dental implants, and outpatient procedures. He takes pride in delivering anesthesia care that enhances patient safety and satisfaction. He enjoys snowboarding, fly fishing, and woodworking in his spare time.
Fun Fact: Ralph is an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman.
Dr. Kamran Dastoury is a double board-certified cosmetic surgeon with advanced training in both maxillofacial and aesthetic surgery, bringing unmatched expertise to every patient he serves. After earning his dental and medical degrees from USC and LSU, he went on to complete over seven years of intensive surgical training, including a fellowship in facial and body cosmetic surgery under the mentorship of world-renowned leaders in the field. His specialties include facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, liposuction, and body contouring—always delivered with a highly personalized approach that prioritizes safety, artistry, and natural-looking results. Beyond his surgical excellence, Dr. Dastoury is deeply committed to advancing the field through research, teaching, and global mission work, making him a trusted and compassionate choice for patients seeking transformative results.
