Have you tried exercise and diet yet still can’t seem to lose weight in certain areas? Are you looking for an effective solution? Well, you are at the right place! Liposuction is one of our expert services, where we contour your body according to your needs. Our certified plastic and cosmetic surgeons can remove excess fat from your abdomen, upper arms, buttocks, chest, back, hips, thighs and more.
We understand that sometimes fat can be stubborn. No matter what exercises or diet you try, it just doesn’t shape your body the way you imagined. Liposuction decreases the number of fat cells in a certain area. This usually results in a permanent slimming effect.

- We are experts and experienced in liposuction.
- We perform liposuction because we enjoy the artistic nature of the procedure and we do it with care.
- We work hard to provide the best overall results — that means addressing the areas of concerns comprehensively using the latest technology and techniques.
For example, abdominal liposuction can be performed in a more advanced manner by strategically removing fat from different layers on the abdomen, revealing the underlying anatomy and muscle structure. Also, the abdominal skin can be stimulated with advanced medical devices (Radiofrequency J-Plasma, Renuvion, VASER, Thermi-Tight) in order to achieve a firm look and avoid hanging skin after underlying fat removal.
What is Liposuction?
Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure that removes stubborn fat that you just can’t seem to get rid of through diet and exercise. It uses a suction technique to remove fat from specific areas of the body. One of our board-certified plastic surgeons usually does the procedure on the arms, back, belly, buttocks, face, hips, and thighs to improve their shape, but it can also be done with other surgeries such as facelifts, tummy tucks, and breast reductions. When you gain weight, the fat cells increase in size and volume; after liposuction, the skin molds itself into the new contours of the treated areas. Liposuction is also referred to as Lipoplasty, Liposulpture, Lipo, Suction Lipectomy, or Body Contouring.
Types of Liposuction
There are a few different types of Liposuction, but they all share a commonality: the use of a thin tube known as the cannula. The cannula is connected to a vacuum that suctions the fat from the body. The list below provides you with the most popular types of liposuction. During your consultation, you’ll be able to determine which type is best for you.
1. Tumescent Liposuction
This is the most common technique of liposuction. The surgeon injects a sterile solution into the area from where the fat is to be removed; it consists of saline, lidocaine, and epinephrine. This solution makes it easier to suction the fat with less blood loss and pain.
2. Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction or UAL
This uses sound wave energy under your skin to rupture the cell walls of fat. The rupture of the cell walls liquefies the fat for suction.
3. Laser-Assisted Liposuction or Smart Lipo
This method uses a laser to produce a burst of energy to liquefy the fat for suction.
4. Power-Assisted Liposuction
This uses a cannula that moves back and forth rapidly. This vibration allows the surgeon to pull out more stubborn fat easier and faster. This can sometimes cause less pain and swelling, and allows the surgeon to remove the fat with more precision.
Risks of Liposuction
As with most cosmetic procedures, there are a number of possible risks and downsides to undergoing the liposuction procedure. We take pride in keeping our clients informed of the risks associated with each procedure you may be interested in undergoing in order to allow you to make an informed choice. All of our clients are encouraged to ask any questions about their procedure during the consultation. While our board-certified cosmetic and plastic surgeons perform each operation with precision and care, the following side effects are sometimes a possibility.
