All too often, patients come to our offices saying “I want to look younger” or “I want a fresher, more youthful look” but are unsure of how to accomplish that goal. There are a variety of treatment options on the market, some more appropriate for specific skin types or results than others. In order to provide a custom, and individualized result, we conduct thorough consultations with each client. We provide information about the products and techniques you are interested in, and possibly even suggest some that you might not know about.

Dermaplaning:

Dermaplaning is a cosmetic facial treatment that uses an exfoliating blade to create smoother, brighter, more youthful-looking skin. Dermaplaning is used to remove acne scars, pockmarks, and peachfuzz, but the treatment is also effective at scraping away dull, dry, or sun-damaged skin as well as fine wrinkles.

Modern Surgical Arts now offers a selection of facial services carefully chosen with your skin’s health and beauty in mind. Our facial offerings include hydration, seasonal,  and luxury facials. Try our 30-minute “drive-by” facials for a bit of lunch-hour self-care. We also offer progressive peels with no downtime for that upcoming special event.

Our facial bar is fully stocked with products based on the latest advancements in skincare. Whatever your skincare needs, you will find soothing, enriching facial products to enhance your skin’s texture, tone, and health. Microneedling

Microneedling can be done as a stand-alone treatment or combined with amnion to produce even more stunning results. It involves taking a sample of your blood, extracting the rich plasm, the fountain of youth, then needling it back into your face. Sounds a bit scary, we know, but it’s actually less intimidating and painful than you think. We use a topical numbing agent to reduce any pain and there’s less downtime than with chemical peels. Using your body’s own regenerative properties allows for incredible benefits, including firmer skin and the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles, redness, dark spots, and scars.

Microneedling with Platelet Rich Plasma Facials

We use plasma because it’s rich in platelets, growth factors, and other nutrients that stimulate the production of collagen and the renewal of healthy skin cells. Collagen plays a key role in the health and appearance of our skin — and PRP helps stimulate collagen and improve tone and elasticity in the skin.
